By requesting, booking, or using BEERIDE services, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. Personal Data and Privacy

BEERIDE may collect and process personal data necessary for the provision of its services, including the client's name, surname, contact information, pickup and destination information, ride details, and other information necessary for providing the service.

All personal data shall be collected, processed, stored, and protected in accordance with the Law on the Protection of the Personal Data (Official Gazzette no.42/2020) of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Personal data shall be used only for legitimate purposes connected with providing, administering, improving, and ensuring the safety of BEERIDE services. Further information concerning the collection, use, retention, and protection of personal data may be provided through BEERIDE's applicable Privacy Policy or Privacy Notice.

2. Payment and Tariffs

The price of the service shall be determined according to BEERIDE's applicable tariffs and pricing policy. The relevant tariffs shall be communicated or made available to the client through the BEERIDE platform or other appropriate means.

BEERIDE reserves the right to modify its tariffs and pricing policy. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the tariff applicable to a particular ride shall be the tariff communicated or displayed to the client at the relevant time.

3. Refunds

BEERIDE does not have direct access to clients' bank accounts. Therefore, where a client is entitled to a refund, the refund may only be processed through legally and technically available payment channels and in accordance with the procedures of the relevant bank, payment processor, or other payment service provider.

BEERIDE shall not be required to perform a refund through a method to which it has no lawful or technical access.

4. Route Selection

Routes are determined using Google Maps or other appropriate navigation services, with the objective of selecting a route that is reasonably efficient and economical for the client.

The suggested route may be affected by circumstances outside BEERIDE's reasonable control, including traffic conditions, road closures, construction works, accidents, weather conditions, navigation-system information, or other unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, BEERIDE does not guarantee that the suggested route will always be the shortest or fastest available route.

BEERIDE shall not be responsible for inaccuracies, interruptions, technical failures, or outdated information originating from third-party navigation services, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Service Availability and Delays

BEERIDE aims to provide its services in a timely and reliable manner. However, estimated pickup and arrival times are approximate and cannot be guaranteed.

Delays or changes may occur due to traffic, weather conditions, road closures, accidents, vehicle-related circumstances, technical problems, increased demand, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside BEERIDE's reasonable control.

Where such circumstances arise, BEERIDE shall make reasonable efforts to provide the requested service but shall not be liable for delays resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

6. Cancellation Fees

BEERIDE reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee where a cancellation results in costs or expenses for the company.

The cancellation fee shall be calculated according to the progress of the requested journey at the time of cancellation:

  • Up to 50% of the route: 60 DEN

The applicable cancellation fee is intended to compensate for reasonable costs and expenses incurred in connection with the requested service.

In the case of reservations, where a client cancels a reservation less than thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled pickup time, 100% of the amount shall be non-refundable. This provision applies to reservations only and does not apply to on-demand bookings.

7. No-Show and Waiting Time

A client may be considered a no-show when the driver arrives at the designated pickup location and the client does not appear within three (3) minutes of the driver's arrival.

Where a client is considered a no-show, BEERIDE reserves the right to cancel the ride and apply the applicable cancellation or no-show fee.

The client is responsible for providing an accurate pickup location and being available at the designated pickup point at the appropriate time.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to use BEERIDE services responsibly and respectfully. The client is responsible for:

  • providing accurate pickup, destination, and contact information;
  • being present at the designated pickup location;
  • behaving respectfully toward the driver and other passengers;
  • complying with reasonable safety instructions provided by the driver;
  • complying with applicable laws and regulations; and
  • avoiding any conduct that may damage, excessively soil, or otherwise negatively affect the vehicle.

BEERIDE shall not be responsible for delays, additional costs, or other consequences resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.

Where a client causes significant damage to or excessive soiling of a vehicle, BEERIDE reserves the right, where permitted by applicable law, to charge the client reasonable cleaning, repair, or other associated costs. Such charges should correspond to the actual or reasonably incurred costs.

9. Safety and Refusal or Termination of Service

BEERIDE and its drivers reserve the right to refuse or terminate a service where reasonably necessary to protect the safety of the driver, passengers, other persons, or property.

This may include situations involving threatening or abusive behaviour, violence, serious disruption, unlawful conduct, deliberate damage to property, or refusal to comply with reasonable safety requirements.

Any refusal or termination of service shall be exercised in accordance with applicable law and shall not be based on unlawful discrimination.

10. Driver Conduct and Responsibility

Drivers are required to behave professionally and respectfully toward clients and to comply with all applicable laws, traffic regulations, safety requirements, and BEERIDE standards.

Drivers remain legally responsible for their own unlawful, inappropriate, or unauthorized conduct toward clients.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BEERIDE shall not assume personal liability for conduct independently committed by a driver outside the authorized scope of the BEERIDE service.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude, restrict, or limit any responsibility or liability of BEERIDE that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Lost or Forgotten Property

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings during the ride and are encouraged to check the vehicle before leaving.

If an item is left in a vehicle, the client should contact BEERIDE as soon as reasonably possible. BEERIDE and/or the relevant driver shall make reasonable efforts to assist in locating and returning lost property. However, BEERIDE cannot guarantee that lost or forgotten items will be recovered or returned.

Nothing in this section shall limit any obligations concerning lost property imposed by applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BEERIDE shall not be liable for losses or damages resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including traffic conditions, road closures, weather events, failures of third-party navigation or payment services, or other unforeseen events.

BEERIDE shall also not be responsible for losses caused directly by inaccurate information, unlawful conduct, or a breach of these Terms by the client.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

13. Complaints and Disputes

Clients who wish to report a complaint concerning a ride, payment, cancellation fee, driver conduct, lost property, or other aspect of the service should contact BEERIDE through its designated customer-support channel as soon as reasonably possible.

Clients should provide sufficient information to allow BEERIDE to identify the relevant ride and investigate the matter.

BEERIDE shall review complaints in accordance with its internal procedures and applicable consumer-protection requirements.

14. Changes to These Terms

BEERIDE reserves the right to amend or update these Terms where necessary due to changes in its services, tariffs, operational requirements, technology, or applicable legislation.

Updated Terms shall be communicated or made available to clients through an appropriate channel. Changes shall apply in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and the provision of BEERIDE services shall be governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Any dispute arising from the use of BEERIDE services shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws and procedures of the Republic of North Macedonia, without affecting any mandatory rights available to clients under applicable consumer-protection legislation.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting, booking, confirming, or using a BEERIDE service, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, including the provisions concerning tariffs, payments, refunds, route selection, cancellations, waiting time, client responsibilities, driver conduct, personal data, and liability.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
